Common Errors
- AOPA Article On Night Flying
- Taxying too fast.
- Not attaining best ROC when towering take-off.
- Insufficient reference to instruments after take-off.
- Too Large a Circuit.
- Not Using DI/Compass, especially downwind.
- Approaching with too high an ROD and low airspeed.
- Go-around and losing all visual references.
- When descending in the hover, backing up due to optical illusion from the landing light.
